Privacy policy

Best Model is operated by Best Model ("we"). This policy explains what we collect, why, who processes it for us, and your rights.

What we collect

We collect only what the service needs to work.

  • Account data: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the name and avatar Google shares.
  • Usage data: your conversations, the files you upload, generated images, and usage counters (requests, tokens, amounts charged).
  • Billing data: your prepaid balance, top-ups and their receipts. Card and wallet details never reach us; the payment provider holds them.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and timestamps in server logs, kept for security and abuse prevention.
  • Preferences: a short list drawn from your own messages (your project, how you like answers, standing instructions). You can see, edit and delete it on the Account page or switch it off.

How we use it

To answer your questions and show your history; to meter and charge your balance; to send account emails (confirmation, sign-in links, receipts); to prevent abuse; to improve the service using aggregate, non-identifying statistics.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use your conversations to train models.

Service providers

We rely on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, the language and image models themselves, web search, OCR, payment processing and email delivery. They process data only to provide those services to us, under their own terms. Your prompts are sent to the model provider you chose for that request.

Retention

  • Conversations and uploaded files: until you delete them or your account.
  • Generated images: for a limited time after they are produced; download what you want to keep.
  • Server logs: 90 days.
  • Billing records: as long as tax law requires.

Cookies

We set the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember interface preferences such as your language.

If advertising measurement is enabled we ask before setting any advertising cookie, and declining changes nothing else. You can change your choice at any time using the control at the end of this page.

Your rights

You can download everything we hold about you and delete your account at any time from the Account page. Deleting the account removes your data within 30 days, except billing records we must keep.

Where data protection law grants additional rights to access, correct, restrict or object, write to support@best-model.org.

Children

The service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
